Sandy Cay, BVI (1992)
Shangri-la! Returning from Anegada,
we arrived at this paradise isle around noon. After a
light lunch, we swam ashore to stroll on the deserted beach,
looking for pirate's gold. We would love to linger here
all day, but Foxy was beaconing us to move on.

Sailing by the moonlight last night, we were
mesmerized by the twinkling stars in that deep velvety
sky. We were gliding along peacefully in the quiet solitude when
a group of flying fish pull alongside us, chasing the phosphorescents
in the bow wave. One of them decided to join us, it flew right into
the cockpit, startled the wit out of everybody's soul, then
proceeds to bounce into the cabin, where it liberally
smeared its smelly slimes onto the cabin sole.
